STEIFF, yellow felt suit and slippers, smaller faults in the felt, flaws on the nose, worn hat, rare, Schwefelmännchen, gab es in der Zeit zwischen 1933 und 1936 in 2 Gr., Art.-Nrn. 125 und 114, insgesamt wurden damals 2.720 Stück produziert, dieser Artikel ist aus einem Irrtum heraus entstanden, Otto Steiff fand auf einem Nähtisch ein Muster eines Schwefelmännchens welches ihm gefiel und es in der Produktion in Serie gehen ließ, es war jedoch kein Entwurf eines Steiff-Designers gewesen, sondern eine Entwicklung der Künstlerin Charlotte Kirchhoff aus Berlin, ein Hotelbesitzer aus Hindelang hatte es bei ihr als Maskottchen entwickeln lassen und es bei Steiff als Muster vorgelegt, doch ein Auftrag kam nie zustande, aufgrund der Urheber-Verletzung wurde die Produktion eingestellt und Steiff musste der Künstlerin nachträglich für den entgangenen Gewinn entschädigen, 28 cm
